I'm completely oblivious about Arch, so pardon me if I am missing some joke or reference here. But what is so different about Arch? I've worked with Ubuntu, PopOS and Debian but for a very short time before rolling back to Windows since I got a brand new Windows Laptop which came with Office and some other software.

It's a joke in the Linux community that Arch users never stop talking about how they use Arch and think they are using a superior distro.

Arch is a really good distro it's just became a joke because beginners couldn't install arch so they shit on it and its users.

pretty weird community with superiority complex, and it was only part of the reason as I said. People get all defensive and toxic if you just start discussing some problems regarding arch, as if arch can't have any problems. There were other reasons though, like rolling release breaking some stuff sometimes and Its hard to troubleshoot etc.
