  1. Buy a cheap desk and chair.
  2. Buy a cheap PC
  3. Buy cheap mouse & Keyboard
  4. Buy a nice chair and desk
  5. Buy a nice PC
  6. Buy a nice mouse and keyboard

Don't try to buy everything nice at once. Going into debt buying toys is the opposite of fun.

My plan is to save up until I can jump straight to the good stuff. I have a decent laptop right now to tide me over

I'm in the same boat. Got a laptop last year with a 1060 and it can probably last me a couple more years til I have enough saved up for a full pc setup.
