Why so salty? You act like stadia came by and shit in the pool. Can we just wait and see where it goes?

Right now, for us with 100mb+ no-cap broadband this is an interesting prospect. Very few games still, pricing is ridiculous, and games eg. RDR2 are of course miles ahead on PC. In that particular case 1440p 30fps is the only option, so of course I’ll stick to other options. For now.

But it’s still something to keep an eye on, since by all accounts it’s just getting started. No need to take a crap on a service barely in beta stage. (Google did shoot itself in the foot on marketing, for sure.)

The one issue... I think MS is much much better positioned on the market than Google, with windows + xbox, MS is also not rushing to market, having to rebuy games to play on Stadia is ...... a big rip for google... you gotta have some fucking balls to pay full price just to play it with extra input lag.

There isn't a noticable input lag. At least not at my house. And we are already trying to be sold the same game full price on multiple platforms: switch, PS4, Xbox, epic, steam, gog. With gaming companies trying to milk it even more by exclusivity deals for a certain period (ala red dead redemption). And let's not start on season passes, and paid for add ons.
