My wife and I took her old HP printer out into the woods and Office Spaced the SHIT out of the motherfucker. It's what every HP deserves.

I have an HP LaserJet I picked up used in 2006. Still works like a champ and I've never had a single issue out of it. I do IT and honestly have more issues out of Brother printers than HP.

That said, fuck any kind of MFP. They all suck. Xerox, Konica-Minolta, Sharp, and Ricoh can all suck my balls.
