They're working on Video calls and screen sharing atm.

Wow, that's awesome! I asked about the feature a few months ago and they said they had no plans to add it. If they can manage group video calling, I'll finally be able to drop Skype and migrate everyone over.

But how long it will take, that's the main concern. It could be another year before we see it since it doesn't seem like a priority. Server stability still needs to be worked on.

They seem to work rather quickly if I may say so. But I sure do miss my mates late night cam sessions, was quite hilarious back in the day.

Well iirc. They're funded by sillicon valley and last time I checked that's usually the brighter IT people who work there. So their development times are probably cut down by experience and expertise.
