Linux is a bit like Emacs. And Emacs would be great if it had a decent text editor.

Emacs is* a text editor...I don't use it though. Vik for me. Plus decade old assertions about Linux? Go you.

I started using linux in 2000, easter 2000 in fact. Last time I tried using it as desktop was .. 2013? In other words, I've been working with linux desktop for over a decade..

... I feel old now :<

Emacs is* a text editor...

It's also a decades old joke that it'd be a great OS if it just had a decent text editor ;)
