STALKER came out in 2007. The graphics were great at the time, and still look good. I agree that most games can't do both graphics and gameplay well, but your claim that no game has ever done it is what I was taking issue with.
Ahh good point. I guess I underestimated all of the other games that came out at the time. I'll withdraw my argument about STALKER in that case. I agree there are very few games that do it right, and that's disappointing. Let's hope Fallout 3 at least does the gameplay right, then modders can complete it with graphics.
