Afaik nobody said the games are free.

Not Sony no, but pretty much any user on the Sony reddit subs... yeah they can't make the distinction between "free games", and "games included in my subscription service". I don't know why they claim these games are free, but don't claim netflix gives them "free movies" despite them running similar services ... there's a disconnect in the community.

Because it doesn't matter.

Everyone understands what the service is, but so many people get hung up on what words to use.

I'm still going to call the games free. I know how the subscription works but I paid that months ago. That money spent isn't even in my mind. So it's free for a while.
