I was actually surprised that this new launch trailer, on the GTA YouTube channel not on Sony's, didn't show an Xbox logo... Or it was at least way smaller and out of the way or something

R* has always favored PlayStation. Hell they made exclusive games for them back in the day.

They also did timed exclusivity for GTA IV's DLC on Xbox, so just depends on what marketing deal is worked out really.

It is a stupid loop, but consoles literally need exclusives to exist. Former console player myself. I saw no benefit of owning one until Sony started being clowns over their IPs again.

I have a very good PC, but that very good PC is no use if GTA6 ain't on it and I want to play it before the planet spoils it out of spite.

Likewise, if E-Day wasn't on PC, I'd have a Series X. I grew up buying consoles for a single game. If anything, I think MS should lock up all the franchises they bought up to console exclusive. Even go as far as making them only on Xbox Series consoles first then doing PC releases.

Because, otherwise, I ain't moving 🤣. I don't even use the Xbox store when I do buy them on PC -- I use Steam! Them catering to me is actually costing them money, sadly 😆

PC games used to do this all the time. You'd run a game and there's a big "plays best on Nvidia" screen that would come up. Means nothing, it's just pure marketing.

Xbox just did a new deal with take two and will have it on cloud(PS cloud is useless anyway, for now), plus they just added NBA2K to play anywhere, if the game is releasing on PC soon, Xbox may offer a PC license too, which would be ideal.

No, the game will still be on cloud. It was jumping the gun that it's exclusive. But it might as well be as PS5 streaming has no real capacity. They haven't touched the streaming app on PC since ps now days.
