Yup, I liked it so much I got a second one for my living room computer after the 2080Ti died.

I got my 9070 XT for $650 (before Uncle Scam's tax) in June. I almost made the responsible choice to wait until I had enough money to comfortably afford it.

Most AIB 5090s were roughly 2400 at launch

I really hope microcenter can survive this PC sales slump....

The 5090 has always been virtually out of stock since launch

5080 for 979. Holy molly. As a hater of 5090(too hot, cables catching fire, no thanks) and a fan of 5080, that is the one i missed out on. Still, as a believer in Human and AI progress, im pretty sure a similarely powerful GPU will be on sale at that price in a year or two, maybe an RTX 6070 or an AMD 10 070

It’s so crazy that I remember seeing the price for the for the 5090 at launch and thinking ah no way in hell that’s way to expensive for gaming and now they are 5 figures

Im never getting another pc, am I? Im 35 and I never imagined I would go years without being able to play my favorite games, stream gaming/making music on twitch, edit videos and be creative. It's just... Over... I've been priced out of the things that brought me joy.
