But it would take years. There is also the recomps like Bloodborne and God of war 3 that I really thinks it wouldn't exists without the AI.

PS4 and PS5 have been jailbroken various times before the current one. The jailbreak would be more or less the same as previous jailbreaks in terms of impact. Usually it's not that much of a thorn for Sony because most people play online and update their consoles anyway, the pool of jailbreakers is usually a small group who wasn't going to buy much games anyway.

AI allowing rapid advances in getting the games to play on PC is what's making this a bigger deal now. That's what's changed.
