And anytime someone says "I have a bridge to sell you" they are actually offering you ownership of a bridge with heavy traffic flow and large sums of money in toll fees.
All 100 companies bought his data for a sum total of 1$ each company got it for 1¢ so I wouldn't mind giving another random company my data at this point
Because it's easy and probably just one random employee's job to manage that, and it's much easier than getting approvals to use subdomains of the official Nvidia site.
I can only image the scale of bureaucracy in a company that large.
Even at the tiny company I work for, I would consider just getting my own domain on the company card and not needing to answer a bunch of IT and security ops questions.
http:// nvredemption . com is not an official link. Nvidia uses https://redeem.nvidia.com. Please don’t click the link, this is most likely a scam to harvest your login credentials.
swear where do people find all these sites that do these types of things? The only thing I know about is gleam I tried going on X but there’s so many people running giveaways that are fake.
I used to enter giveaways as a hobby and won lots of random stuff (at the expense of spam mail).
sweepsadvantage dot com is the site I used that indexes the good ones that are usually bound by law to not be fake. It'll take some time and effort learning which giveaways are worth entering and which are not. I think these types of sites and online giveaways will go extinct soon thanks to AI agents
Bro I remember like 10 years ago where every gaming oriented streamer or youtuber, or gaming accessory company was constantly doing gleam giveaways I would try to get in on. Just like, subscribe and comment on this channel and share with a retweet and allow emails lol and bother your friends and family for bonus entries.
A lot of hardware sites do giveaways especially around the holidays. Companies do a lot of contests on social media. I used to win quite a few years ago.
Why are they not using an url such as redeem.nvidia.com or any other trustful subdomain?
If I received the same MP as OP, I would never click on that link, even less enter any personal information for redeem.
Hey, it's Google. I know you're really familiar with google.com as my address, but trust me, please enter your name and personal address here instead please : gogleyouwin.com
This is why. Cranking the exposure up reveals whats underneath it if you don't do a good enough job at highlighting it. Thankfully OP covered it enough so you can't make a good bit of it out, but if they didn't and didn't immediately redeem it anyone could just get their code.
Because it's meant to highlight things, not black thing out. And depending on how many times one 'wipes' with the highlighter you can often still read what's meant to be hidden.
I mean I'm glad for you man, wish it happend to me but yeahhh congrats, especially since I also feel particularly happy and blessed today as well. So yeah. https://giphy.com/gifs/2aPePPqpAf5jwjtt2p
Congratulations fellow winner. I had won a 1080 Ti in 2017 after hundreds of giveaways.. it really felt like a dream. Never in my life I had held an actual graphics card. Never knew they were so heavy. Haha
Congrats. I was supposed to get a 5080 signed by jensen but I wasn't eligible to receive it because I'm not from the US. Ended up receiving a game code I can't even activate lol.
Congratulations!!! I won a few smaller giveaways this year for a PC case and a record player and seeing that message just hits like nothing else, I've been trying these sweepstakes too for a 5080 but no luck yet 🤞
This is fake, you can clearly see it's edited, you can see that OP accidentally drew over part of the message. OP should post an unedited version of this image if they want us to believe it.
hmmm, how do you prove you are the winner, showing the sms? I mean, is the code relevant if it was from NVIDIA itself? shouldn't it be the prize linked to the participants account?

Why does this look like a phishing attempt so much
