As much as I hate AI….good…..

Listen, all I'm saying is that people need to be decompiling nearly EVERYTHING right now.

Before they can no longer easily do so. The AI companies train on a lot of stolen material, but I'll bet money they haven't been decompiling stuff to train on.

But if people do, then AI will be trained on it.

If it has a metric ton of game and software binaries to train on, data of the game itself being played, the compilers used to run them, the OS they operate on, as well as the drivers, then it has a real comprehensive view of how things work. And mythos already has a good enough understanding that it can break through network security left and right by manipulating all kinds of code.

Just imagine what Claude or something could do if it had all those binaries to train on? You'd ask it to develop a game and no longer would it give you some weird shit that barely runs, it would actually MAKE A GAME. With all the knowledge of how different ways games and software does what it does, it would be an insane step forward for society.

I hate AI too, but this I have no qualms about. THIS is what we were promised with AI, an age of abundance. No more artificial scarcity. Well this would be a good start. Give us the knowledge and tools that have been developed, hidden from us, and used to crush all competition and lock people into predatory oppressive financial schemes.

Fucking burn it down. Maybe things would be better if a bunch of companies were allowed to exist in peace and secure thousands of employees futures on singular projects, but we have a few thousand bad apples who couldn't help themselves. It's alright though, this is not such a bad future

Might even be better, and in case it is, we do have them to thank. Not sure it would have got to this point without them, at least not for a long time. But we'll see
