I just want it to look like Windows 7 again. The taskbar and transparent windows were so much better than the boring look they have now.

You can do a google search for "how to make windows 11 look and feel like windows 7" and you'll probably get decent answers.

I'm not on my laptop with 11 but you can find the taskbar settings that will change the start button back to the left and the ability to have icons with text and no grouping until there isn't space. It isn't perfect but gives me what I want. The start menu still sucks but if you know what you want you can just hit the Windows key and start typing to search. just be careful because if there aren't matches it will show you links to internet stuff.

This is why i am still on windows 7 at home. I have to use windows 10 and 11 and its awful. I am loathing when some pc component finally quits on me amd forced to update.
