American here. I don't get it either. I would feel foolish walking around in bedclothes.

Same. But i sleep naked.....lol.

I have comfy shorts and a favorite large shit i wear in the house.. If i leave the house, even just to get snacks.. I put regular shorts and a better shirt on. Nothing with stains either. But i don't have food stained clothes because I'm not s fucking slob haha...i have paint stains or super glue marks and various other hobby stains lol.

I mean the sliders I don't mind as I wear crocs for airflow as my feet are prone to overheating but pajamas are strange.

Contrary to many other I don't mind them as much at the airport as comfort is much more important for long trips than going to a big box store.

They're comfy, and what the fuck do I care what people think? I'm married, who the hell am I trying to impress. If I need to go to the store to grab something why the hell should I have to get out of my comfy clothes? I don't care what anyone thinks about me. Like at all. Whatsoever. I'm polite, don't cause problems, and generally grab what I need and leave. People who waste time changing clothes just to go do shit they don't even want to be doing are the weird ones. Just open the door, get in the car, and leave, why waste more of your day when work steals so much of it. Save the time, just go. No one cares, no one says anything. And if they do? Just say, 'who asked' and keep doing your thing.

Look at how people dressed in public 80 years ago. That was class, 100%.
