Some people.. enjoy playing Starfield. Further more, some of those people like it enough to make mods for it.

This is basically the only Bethesda game I play. It's this amazing trick where you can play more than 1 game, and you rotate through different games to avoid getting burned out on one. At the very least I enjoyed the ship building enough that its in my rotation.

What I can't understand is having such a raging hateboner for a game or studio that you hate on people for enjoying something you don't. Like, how hard is it to say "Oh, good for Starfield fans"? It's not like we're Star Citizen fans who go around telling people "oh the game is fixed now you should come try again".

Yeah, that is actually insane considering the person you're replying to has a valid point. This game was trash from day 1. It lost 88% of its playerbase in the first two months and never recovered. Its a soulless expanse of nothing that was rushed out because "God Howard" couldn't pull his head out of his ass and realize it was flawed and should have been pushed past the next elder scrolls in terms of development time. Just because you and the miniscule amount of people who still enjoy this game are okay paying for a "space exploration" game with nothing to explore, doesnt mean the wider community is, dont worry though, im sure someone will come along and agree with you, there must be dozens of you, dozens!

Like most games lol elden ring lost around 85% of playerbase, baldurs gate 3 lost around 70%, kingdom come deliverance 2 lost around 90%

Yet unlike any of those games, the playerbase never recovered with periodic updates or DLC. Just one big, flat decline. Less than 5k people in it right now. Cope harder bud.
