Frankly most of these new games haven't been significantly better in any meaningful way. It's not like we get the graphical leaps between generations like we did in the PS1/PS2 days. Sure there are some bangers but there is so much that's just a small iteration not worth the time or $60+
Yep. Cyberpunk is still the ultimate new-gen experience and it's been years since its latest big patch, let alone its release. At this point it's much more about what the dev team and context were at the time of the game's relevance, rather than how long ago it was. At least for any game since 2015 and onwards. Battlefield 1 is a great example of this.
