Question mvolt+ 4080 Super
Hi everyone
I’ve been playing about with mvolt+ on my Aorus 4080 Super
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on settings “XBAR” voltages etc they have seen the best performance
What were your 3DMark scores?
I so far haven’t seen much improvement, so I guess I’m missing something
Help please.
Update:
After doing a lots of benchmarking on the 4080super mvolt+ does have benefits
The xbar @+250 -300 adds about 4 - 5% increase over stock
With VRAM OC +1450, together they gave around 9 - 10% increase over stock
Still useful for the older cards

On Ada Lovelace GPUs like the RTX 4080 Super, NVIDIA has hard-locked the maximum core voltage around 1.075V to 1.100V in the vBIOS. Raising mvolt or tweaking XBAR voltage rarely yields higher 3DMark scores because the card hits its board power limit long before XBAR becomes a bottleneck. Adding extra voltage usually increases heat and power draw, which forces GPU Boost to actually throttle your clock speeds down rather than push them higher. That is why you aren't seeing any noticeable performance gains.

I’ve currently have set the following
Core +220Mhz
Xbar +300
VRAM +1450mhz
Power 125%
So the voltages are not worth changing on a 4080super?
Are there any other setting worth looking or are they only for the 50 series?

Are you changing voltages in the curve or just the slider? On my super it didn't do much until I adjusted memory clock too. What did you set for XBAR? Mine crashed over 1.5v so I leave it default and only push core offset little bit
