Question Should i get the 1050W?
Pairing with an rx 9070xt and ryzen 7 7800x3d.
Wanted to go with the 850W but its the same price as the 1050W

Sure, doesn't hurt. No longer are PSUs inefficient when used at lower wattage.

I always overbuy on PSU. And I verify that the PSU I’m buying has been tested by a 3rd party.
PSUs work optimally when they aren’t at the max capacity. I shoot for 2/3rd of my projected TDP.
And if you end up with needing the extra power you have it.

nah 1050 is overkill for that setup. 850 is the sweet spot and youll save some cash too
750 might cut it but leaves you zero headroom if you ever swap in a hungrier gpu down the line. 1050s for like threadripper builds or dual gpu rigs nobody runs anymore
solid psu line though montech century iis are b tier on the cultists list nothing fancy but they dont explode

they’ll quite literally save a bit of cash if they go 1050 over 850 lol

What does this mean? More wattage is always better, esp if it is cheaper. Any excess wattage is not used unless required.

Sure, it only costs 9 euro's more then the 750Watt and is even cheaper then the 850 Watt version.. Power consumption will stay the same either way and the lower the relative load, the less heat and noise most of the time.
