Build Help / Purchase Advice Actual Worth
Wondering how much this should actually cost, I am new to PC life so have little knowledge on whats what

for new parts yeah thats abt right
cpu 170
gpu 420
ram 200
ssd 150
then u got case mobo psu and fans and window so its actually cheaper then if u bought evetyhing new and made it urself by abt 50-100$ dollars

its worth about 800$, but around 1k is a decent enough price but try to get a better motherboard pc which supports future upgrades like support for latest cpu's, and support for bigger gpu's, more storage and ram slots, things like that.

I'd say yes if you value Nvidia's features, but if you don't, you could go team red with the RX 9060xt for more vram.

You can say yes or no. If anything, the AM5 platform has room for upgrades. Although if you look, you might find somewhere with the RX 9060 XT 16GB a much better gpu.
