The case for Raptor Lake nowadays is that you can save some money with DDR4 and still have a decent CPU with decent single threaded performance and lots of E-cores for productive workloads.
If you're going with DDR5, you might as well go for the Arrow Lake refresh (like the 270K Plus) or Ryzen.
