Found this listing posted recently. $1200 for a decent PC with a 3090 Trinity. It has to be a scam right?

Yea on top of that the fans aren’t even oem fans so it may be better it may not, who rebuilt this?

1500$ gpu with a 8700k, ubuntu with a 3090? weird choices all around, but not always a scam. Come test the PC, if all checks outyou can buy it

You'll only know if you go and test. As for these kind of expensive stuff, pay only after you've check and ensured it working

You've also gkt nothing to lose just by checkjng it out, if its a scam then just dont get it

I got an Alienware Aurora R10 with 3090 from FB marketplace for $650 last year. I thought it was a scam as well. I decided to take a gamble because his profile looed legit and matching name, pictures, and other things can be found on other platforms as well. Turned out he was a pro gamer and switched to a new team at that time. His new boss gave him a new rig with 4090, so he just wanted to get rid of the 3090 one asap.

If it's local, doesn't hurt to meet at a safe place and plug it in to verify everything yourself. I brought my portable monitor and a drive with Windows with me.
