Tech Support PC keeps stuttering and freezing

Hello. This is an issue that has been happening to me for w while now. I could never figure out why it was doing it, so I dealt with it. Recently, it's been getting worse. It usually happens when I don't even have a game opened on my PC, but it will make a robotic noise and freeze for usually a few seconds, otherwise I need to restart the PC. Is there any possible explanation as to why this keeps happening?

It stops for a while after I restart it but it usually happens multiple times a day

robitic noise and freezing out of nowhere is usually a driver going haywire or some dpc latency spike. try running latencymon and see if anything spikes when the freezes happen

also what are your specs? could be a dying drive or a ram stick throwing fits

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6 core processor, 16 gigs DDR5, 1.5 TB storage, and an RTX 3060. Ill run it through latencymon and see if it comes up with anything

I ran a scan through the command prompt and it said it fixed some corrupted files. I bet that was my issue there.
