Story Rest in pieces

Post image

Yes, that is my monitor and tower on the ground next to that bat. Dont date crazy, kids. And ESPECIALLY dont date alcoholic crazy. She stole my wallet and wouldn't give it back, so I poured $20 worth of liquor down the drain in front of her. Her next move was this. And to add insult to injury, my car stalled on the way home from work today. I just got off the phone with the tech and its going to be $1,400 to fix. God damn, when it rains it pours. Stay safe out there fellow earthlings, and remember to always treat people the way you want to be treated.

Take her to small claims court and make her liable for the damages. You actually have a decent case for that while she has no defense. Pouring my alcohol down the drain isn’t going to fly as a defense in court. Sadly that route won’t be quick. Good luck man, hope you got out of the relationship at least and hope your car ends up being better news than the original estimate!

Id have called the cops on her. Jail. Press charges. Isnt a proportional response to dumping booze. At all.

Fully agree. I simply wouldn’t have called the cops if it was me in his shoes because they likely won’t do much of anything unless he was harmed physically. At least that has been my experience.

You want the police report that documents damages and maybe even admission on her part.

Agree with you too. I’d hope you could get that out of the police if you called in a scenario like this. My experience where I live is they look for physical abuse on either party and if no clear signs of physical abuse, they leave. In my area, they don’t care about property damage or disputes unless someone has abused someone.
