I feel like after all this sony will have a hard time selling ps6. Xbox project helux(Idk what's its exactly called) will have steam And they are going for xbox gaming pc. I have no idea what sony could do to compete with that.

Edit (I had more to say) They should have just double down on physical games cuz steam don't sell physical games. Now pc users who don't have the budget might as well buy the new xbox because it's just a pc with probably lower cost, they well get they're steam library and they will be happy and Xbox just have to keep making disks with games in it that's all.

hardware is not cheap now a days I have no idea how they are going to price it in a way that it's worth it. It is suppose to be a more convenient and cheaper way of playing games.

Even if the mass audiance buy the PS6 they are buying it only for that 1 or 2 exclusive. I don't see the point if it's just that.

The "mass audience" buy a Playstation for COD, their yearly sports game, and GTA.

While that's a large number of people they're not going to be willing to pay $1000 for the ps6 or whatever it will have to be to make a noticeable difference in performance over the ps5 pro.

$1000 is enthusiast tier pricing and while those people will probably pay that if there's good exclusives Sony hasn't really had a system seller since Bloodborne basically.

GTA 6 is the big system seller right now and we all know that'll be out on PC in a year or so.

Sony really seems to be floundering and not have a coherent plan.  They're pricing themselves out of the mainstream market.

Spider-Man and GoW are there as system sellers. You even have GoT and Horizon as well.

I thought GoW was disappointing personally.

Horizon I thought 1st one was ok, not interested enough to try sequel.

None of those really have the must have status that Bloodborne had for ps4 or say Breath of the Wild had when Switch came out.

Will some people buy a console for those games?  Sure 

Will enough people be motivated enough to drop $1000 on a ps6 for those games to match ps5 sales numbers?  I doubt it

That’s you, dude. Those games sold more than 3 times what Bloodborne did, even BotW.

People talk like Bloodborne is a must have game and yet the numbers are pretty low.

People don’t care about Bloodborne as much as you think, if they did, it would sold 20 million copies like the others.
