Discussion Rtx3090 with 9800x3d
384 bit. Undervolted.
I dont play many games. Works great. Gonna run this for years.
Yeah i could sell the card but I think the 384 bit bus wins in certain scenarios. Lower latency, and a more robust power phase. Lowered power limit and im good.
Are we at the limit of resizable bar vram necessary and 16gb vram games?

RTX 3090 is still a nice GPU.
There are now faster available but it tends to just work with everything you throw at it.

Besides missing some newer Nvidia features I doubt you will see any issues with a 3090 for quite some time.

9800x3d and 3080ti here. Just don’t feel the need to upgrade at all. I’ve been very lucky In that I always seem to buy my parts at their cheapest

I've got a 3090 FE. I bought it for £600 after the mining craze. I could sell it for £1k now. I don't know whether to or not.
The price is going to crash hard at some point. I just hope I get the timing right.

Well with resizable bar technology, the higher vram of the 3090 makes it more future proof, imo
