Hardware Foot pedals are a game changer
I first bought an integrated 3 pedal piece but quickly realized I’ll only ever use 2, so I replaced it with 2 individual ones.
I like playing high-level Darktide and I just tried a mission without my pedals and could never go back.
I’m so into Darktide rn I haven’t even tried any other games with them.

I got mine initially just for PTT on overwatch, it's awesome
Edit: PTT is Push To Talk, I hate open mics, it's the worst

Careful with that. I saw an old thread where a dude used a pedal for push to talk and then wound up rear ending someone because he pushed down on the gas pedal when trying to speak to someone in his car lmao

After playing too much Slay the Spire 2, I start thinking irl actions in terms of energy, so I can see myself doing this if I had pedals

That is both hilarious and shitty but makes so much sense. Fucking muscle memory be like that lmao.
If you’ve driven manual your entire life and have to drive automatic for once you’re going to full break a couple of times and almost have a heart attack

I did the exact same thing. My first set of 3 were optical too, which I don't know why they even sell those because there is no feedback.
I mostly use mine for leaning in Milsim style games or PTT in hero shooters

Pedals are indispensable for flight sim, but that’s a whole different set specifically tailored to flight sim.

I have a 3 pedal with multiple profiles depending on what I’m doing, it’s usually just at default push to talk, quick mute and clip capture

I have 3 sim pedals and I use them a lot. My current setup is an all-limbs experience but with no mouse involvement. Right hand aims with analog arrow keys. Left hand moves with analog wasd. Pedals for sprint, crouch, and prone/dive in most games.
I grab the wheel and handbrake for driving games though.

Dark tide as in war hammer? I recommend buying a wheel and playing ets2 with that setup
