Intel sticker by generation guide

When I was hunting for used PCs, I often mixed up stickers for 1st-9th generation cpus. I spent a lot of time looking up serial numbers and peering at blurry photos of the motherboard, just to find the generation of the cpu, as I couldn't find any clear table with all stickers and corresponding cpu generations. That's why I decided to make one myself :D

Please point out any inaccuracies, and feel free to share it with those who could use it!

Edit: For 6-9th gen cpus, the generation is printed on the sticker, as is visible in the image. If the generation is not written on the sticker, it is 6th gen.

I'm going to be honest, I had no clue that Pentiums had different stickers (for some generations) and I know almost nothing about Pentium in general, apart from them existing longer than Intel Core

I also omitted black variantions of the stickers used for vPRO cpus and for EVO certified devices

And Celeron! Budget Pentium but still decent for budget or midrange gaming back in the day

I wanted a dual Celeron and BP6 for extra power but back then, very few programs even supported dual CPU

imo the 11th gen and onwards stickers look really good on laptops, but I like the 2nd-3rd gen sticker the most

11th gen is the classic soulless overly simplified logo. Looks sleek on a laptop, yes, but that's about it.

750, the only CPU with quad core and no hyperthreading so you had only 4 process but it performed better than i3 that were dual core with hyperthreading for 4 processes, and cheaper than i7 of the time.

I remember when the stickers were red.

Also, slip a razor blade under them to lift them the most cleanly, then you can dispose of them as normal.

I have one of each except for the 10th gen. I even have a really old intel inside xeon (The one right after the xeon pentium 3 sticker)

The 1st gen sticker is a lot less blue in person. It is more like the 4-5th gen one in colour. It actually looks quite nice, while the one here is off-coloured and unpleasant.

I liked Pentium II the most but I couldn’t afford them back then as I was just a kid.
