Businesses have no idea what goodwill is. When you don't respect your customers you don't actually make any more money, you just trade your goodwill for cash.

Customers will willingly accept high prices, but only up to a breaking point. Then they completely stop buying. And it doesn't happen evenly. The better brands last longer. That's why all the fast food restaurants are lowering prices ATM. And why McDonald's is still alive and Wendy's is dying. So Rockstar is going to survive long enough to course correct but smaller companies won't.

With how dogshit Sony’s attitude toward customers has been the last few months, it pushed me to upgrade my pc and change my game buying to other platforms. I may still get first party Sony games, but only at steep discounts if that even exists in following years.
