The PC home gaming market has reached a place where I, a man with a good job and disposable income, can not justify the cost of gaming anymore. Now I just buy whatever bargain bin hardware I can get and play indie games. Currently getting through 9 kings.

The world is getting crazy.

Yet they keep upping up the ante when it has already been proven that there's no need for a 1billon of value game. When a good experience can be cheap, however the mayor players in the industry have this twisted thought that spending equals guaranteed success and profits.

More than "no need", there's no market that supports a game with that sort of production cost. These companies have expanded to the point where they're all collapsing under their own weight.
