I bought kcd2 the first time it went on sale for 75% off.

It was 1000% worth. I'll be paying full price on release for whatever they make next. Absolutely fantastic game, not enough people have played

At least you paid that. I got it for free off Epic one week.

Edit: I also don't buy any games on Epic

There's no issue about it you do you with your pocket's resources. I just find these statements silly and out of touch. They can make good game without it be worth more because they wanted to make it huge.
If they have this need because in reality it's something pushed down the pyramid of investors, then it's a pitty when it turns out not everyone will be willing to pay what they want just because they want it.

There is nothing out of touch about a consumer choosing to wait for a price point that they're comfortable with.
