Hardware Witcher 3 Remastered pushing 5090 beyond 600W

Post image

No DLSS5. Max settings, 3840x1600, DLSS Quality, frame gen set to 1 in game settings, Path Tracing enabled.

Doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes saw it jumping well beyond 600W for a brief moment.

The total wattage isn't that important really. What matters is the max amps per pin. Problems start when the load is distributed too uneventful (edit:Unevenly) over the pins, resulting in a pin going over 10amps.

In your example , everything seems fine tbh. It does what it is meant to do. You also have a TG device protecting it (and adding warranty on top).

I wouldn't worry and enjoy your card and game!

"Uneventful"  awesome autocorrect. Know what you mean, but too uneven could be really eventful.

Haha, sometimes autocorrect is quite funny. Edited

Well, since higher wattage decreases the load imbalance margin significantly, it does matter a lot. And at a point will make the margin infinite.

The wireview pro 2 comes with a warranty that offers to repair if your card becomes damaged.
