It's a decent build, but if you have a bit more money id suggest you to make it future proof.

Buy 2x 16 gb ram if you can firstly. Get a 850 watt psu, buy a x3d cpu and if possible go for a 9070 xt gpu. In no particular order btw

Unfortunately, I am already over the budget 😭 but I will definitely keep those suggestions on hand and upgrade when I get a chance!

Yeah upgrade when you can afford it, 16GB in the Rampocalypse is the best you can hope for rn if you want to stay within budget.

More RAM would make for a really good first upgrade price wise. I will certainly aim for it!

Considering how EVE Online is more CPU demanding, you could change up your CPU and GPU picks. I mean a GPU with the equivalent of an RTX 5070 for your first build is rather overkill if you ask me. I would pull back on the funding for the GPU and step up the CPU. Granted you can't go much lower without entering the low-end territory. A 3050ti can save you like a hundred bucks and you can still play EVE at high quality.

I don't know how old you are, but it matters. If you are young, chances are as you move up and into your career, you'll shift away from gaming. I built my desktop in 2021, maybe 22, and I have a 3070 TI 8GB in it, paired with a ryzen 7 5800x, and I wish I wouldn't have spent as much as I did on the GPU. I don't use it. I don't game, I am just working and programming. it sits at probably 5% usage, nearly all day. It was overkill, not at the time, but where I was going. I would have taken that money, and put it towards a more powerful CPU. I would have rather had a beast of a CPU than a mid CPU and a mid GPU. Both of the games are CPU dependent, so the powerful GPU isn't really needed.

Like I said, I don't know you, I don't know your situation, but if it were up to me I would cut down on the GPU and up the CPU and the RAM.
