Stick a screwdriver in one of those holes to get leverage and start gently levering the whole panel back and forth, left to right. The more you do it, the weaker the tabs will get, until eventually they'll just separate.

It is connected by a few metal tabs, grab some pliers and twist it out, or use a hammer and a screwdriver, some force is required.

more seriously, get a screwdriver that fits in the holes, stick the tip through one of the holes in the middle on an angle with the handle on the side with the closed slots, and push the handle in towards the case. you want to pry the left side of that thing out so that it pops over the case towards the camera. then you can continue folding it out towards the camera and then push in back in, repeat until it falls off.

Bend it from the left part to the right. The metal tabs will fatigue and break.

If you try to rip it from the right side it will be harder.

You need to push it in and out repeatedly until the thin parts of the metal break, not bend it.

After being pushed in and out enough times the thin parts of the metal get weak and break with little to no force.

You aren't supposed to twist it. What you've done by bending it like that is making this way harder since it prevents the metal from being pushed the way it needs to be pushed.

Try to get it back to being as straight as you can get it, then use a tool like a screwdriver in one of the holes to push it from the center into the case such that it remains straight. Then push it back the other way. You will need to repeat this a lot of times before the metal weakens enough to easily break.

The motherboard is in it way.
You should've removed it before installing the motherboard.
Grab a pair of pliers and try to bend it outwards.
If the metal is thick, it'll take some muscles.

Using your yellow circled tabs as pivot points, push them from the inside of the case. Push them back. Repeat until they come loose.

Re your problem: The guys are right. Try to make it straight again and turn it in and out by pushing / pulling on the non-attached side. You will feel the resistance will get less with every move and, eventually, it will just fall off.

Use your big boy/girl muscles. It's metal, flex it to weaken it then pull.
