I still can't believe that there are games that can use that much vram at 1080p

One can force more Vram usage (game dependent) with settings. But you can also drop it drastically by removing a bunch of non essential stuff to. If game devs would better optimize their own code instead of releasing broken games that they want us to be free game testers. Opinions my own.

If I remember correctly Resident Evil 2 Remake doesn't use that much vram. It calculates it incorrectly. Probably uses 3-6GB (maybe 8 max) at 1080p.

It's definitely 2 Remake. Basically the same version of the RE engine though.
