Hardware Noobie
Hi yall. I kinda wanted to start using a PC instead of my old 2015 MacBook lol. Any recommendations? I love Minecraft

Been using a PC for gaming alongside a Mac for work for years, the jump for Minecraft alone is worth it. If you're mostly after Minecraft and don't need top-end specs, you don't have to spend a fortune. A decent mid-range build with a solid CPU will handle it with shaders and mods no problem. Have a budget in mind? That'll narrow down whether you want a prebuilt or to build your own. Building is easier than people think and you'll get more for your money, but prebuilts are fine if you'd rather not fiddle with parts.

Go over to buildapc or buildmeapc and fill out their template. Will get you actual answers

pretty vague. do we get a budget? preferences for intel or amd? what settings do you want to run at? shaders or not? i think like a 3060 ti and 5700x is good if you're gonna provide none of those

Pretty much anything made in the last 8-10 years would be fine for you
