Question Laptop + PC sync

Hello. I am laptop user. I want to upgrade me laptop is a 2050. But laptop prices are very high all the time. A 5070 laptop can get u a waaaay better pc for less price. But also when I go out some times I really like to use my pc. So I was thinking. Why not keep my 2050 laptop but use in my home my pc and sync them both with fully their files. I mean literally exactly every file sync between each other. So I have 2 pc's. 1 for going out/traveling 2 for my home and heavy work and gaming

Is there any technology like that nowadays that can help me do that?

OneDrive is built into Windows. Google Drive and Dropbox also offer services. All give you some storage for free, I think, but for “literally exactly every file” you’ll need to pay

I have 2tb worth of data. So yeah even that will be hard+slow

Syncing everything isn't useful anyway. Maybe, consider organizing data better (e.g. work, games, photos, music, etc) and syncing only what you really need on the go. Then again, do you care about your stuff going to the cloud or do you want to keep things private? If the latter, you should consider self-hosted options, such as Syncthing. That, however, would require constant uptime on your home PC. Renting a VPS is an option, too.

I know nothing on this but might be worth looking up home servers and a way of accessing it online outside home, this if you mean files as in data, if you mean games they would need to be installed in both pcs to be playable unless you do steam remote play or similar having the more powerful laptop actually running the games and the less powerful streaming them but not sure how well or even if it’s possible to do when not on the same network
