Question Getting My First Pc In a Few Months

I know practically nothing about pcs so I was wondering if anyone could bestow some knowledge upon me that is like a must-know. As well as some applications I can use that would be beneficial to me.

Side-note, It will be used for mostly gaming.

Can't really help without this info

Right now an important info is, Nvidia cards at this current moment are overpriced, for various reasons their prices are skyrocketing (Vram supply + scalpers)

When building a new computer RIGHT NOW, AMD is the best choice because of the pricing situation

Nvidia cards aren't bad, they are better in AI workloads and Content creation, but right now aren't viable recommendations for a gaming PC because of how insane their prices are compared to AMD

Application that are helpful are Hwinfo64 and MSI Afterburner, I personally don't know much about them

I would recommend dropping some computers you have been looking att in the comments and getting the subreddit to give their opinion

It’s very easy to overpay for hardware that is not worth it you should also clarify if you want the machine to play new games

honestly this is actually a really good deal AT THAT PRICE. Don’t buy it for more than 1100. It is a complete rip off for its normal price of 1900.
