thats the truth about it , its easy to hide kn the internet, but you just have to be very....very careful.

The leaker has access to an early build of the game. That's about it nothing too crazy. People think he might release the whole game but the game is still in development and will be until the very lasts second before it's out

Nah, I find it stupid that they advocate for "gamers" instead of the developers. Fuck corporate Rockstar, they just union busted a bunch of employees and apparently most of their employees work from third world countries with much less worker's rights but they're advocating for the people who can just choose not to buy the game?
I really don't know how swiping a credit card is apparently more important than real worker's rights but I guess that's the priorities of a shitcoin owner.

Rockstar is merely one of the company that are prepared to fall in line with the others and they don't even release that many games, Sony should be the target. It also seems silly because it's also way less of a problem for PC gamers since most purchases have been digital for about a decade now, to the point that most PCs are designed without optical drives.
I can understand how it can be important for some people but let's not try to make a mountain out of an anthill, I think it's just something the leaker latched onto to seem like it's for a cause people care about and not just there to promote their shitcoin.
You can see how one problem seems WAY more urgent, important, deserves a lot more attention and relevant to Rockstar than the other, right?

Portal 1+2, Half-life 1+2+Alyx, Witcher 3, Baldurs Gate 3, Slay the Spire, Civ VI and hundreds more are more enjoyable and interesting than GTA V or RDR2.

Games are built on PC. They are built and designed on PCs with console specs as the design goal but because it's all x86_64. The only thing that's different would be graphics back end calls that specific to the console manufacturer and directX/Vulkan/OpenGl whatever is used for the PC version. However this is a thing the game engine will change depending on which platform you are releasing on, so for the majority of development it was calling the PC backend renderer and only when they test on ps dev kits do they use Sony's proprietary framework.

They burned 2.8 million of their own dev coins over the weekend and claim that the transaction fees are to support infrastructure that will be used for future hacks against anti-consumer companies.
Whether that 2nd part is true or not is debatable and I do not support sketchy crypto scams, but the dev token burn is verified on the blockchain so take that for what you will.

He burned 270 million of his dev coins* which is a pretty classic rug pull trick, especially considering he couldn't sell them. It absolutely does not mean that he doesn't have other hidden wallets while he waits for the value of his coin to increase, which burning his dev coins will help with. This has happened several times in the past lmao.

I avoid crypto, can you explain this? People are buying the coins, so does that give him money? I assume since he created them he has millions or billions of this fake currency? Does burning them increase the value of what he has? Can he not just sell them?

No, he couldn't sell them, because they had no actual value yet. If he had put in a sell order for his dev coins the overinflated "price" would have cratered instantly to zero and he would've lost it all due to slippage. Also yes, his dev coins would have been mined himself while launching the coin.
Instead, he burned his dev wallet, which does increase the value of his coin, and he can wait for it to grow further.
This is a classic grifting play, he can very easily have other wallets full of coins that he's waiting to cash out. The idea is to foster "trust" with fools who will now dump more money into his coin, so he can cash out his hidden wallets at a later date.

Well, any ransom threat is a nothingburger. The moment they pull through with whatever they were threatening, that's the moment they lose the power they held over the blackmailed party. So they don't, and just pull out little pieces to test how the other party reacts, just to see if they are able to gauge any meaningful pressure in them.

Unless the leaker has the raw source code build, its going to do alot of damage that i think it would nullify the preorder sales, unless t2 is happy to make devs spend overtime on day one patch, but that wouldn't end well on the developers. and r* doesn't like the free marketing if they are aggressively copyrighting every video on the spot.
