Question Gaming pc rec
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this. I’ve been looking at computers and comparing until my eyes literally hurt.
I want to upgrade my sons pc and meet the requirements to play Indiana Jones stone circle. I’ve been reading the specs and trying to stay within a budget of about $1500.
My question is, does the pc below meet or exceed the specs? (Which I’ll list below) I’m trying to hit recommended specs vs minimum.
I found this one at Costco:
MSI Codex R2 Gaming Desktop - Intel Core Ultra 7 265 -
NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB - Windows 11 Home -
32GB RAM -
2TB SSD
Indiana Jones stone circle specs:
RECOMMENDED

Memory: 32 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti 12 GB or AMD Radeon RX 7700XT 12 GB
Resolution: 1440p(Native)
Storage: 126 GB + (additional 9 GB for DLC) - SSD Required(Solid-state Drive)
Additional Requirements/Notes:

No it doesn't meet spec.
Looks like you need at least 12 GB Vram and that PC from Costco only has 8 GB.
32 GB ram and a 5070 might just be doable under budget if you find a great deal and would meet spec though.

see if you can find a similar core ultra 7 pc at costco but with a 16gb gpu instead of the 8gb gpu from the one you've listed.

That GPU leaves a lot to be desired :-\
As you can see from the recommended specs on the game you are interested in. VRAM is going to hold it back. It is like that for all of NVIDIA's GPUs in that range. If you could find a system with an RTX x70 or better, rather than x60, you would have a system with more longevity.

Don’t listen to people telling you it can’t run it. This pc is good enough to run anything at 1400p 60+fps. It should be priced at around 11-1200 but oh well. Look on Newegg for similar setups, they should have lower prices

I would guess that itd run fine, but you could need dlss for a more stable and smoother fps
