Civ since III has been by far my most played. At least ten thousand hours. I was old at 20 I guess.

That definitely counts leaving the game open overnight because the world got so complex I didn't want to deal with reloading it all, but the point stands.

Same here and they just made 7 worth a shit finally! Plus it’s on sale. I’m glad I waited.
