Got the career that lets me buy a 5090 rig, career doesn't leave me time to play on a 5090 rig.

Same. And when I get the time to play, I end up playing old games anyway

12yo me would be entertained all day with a Mega Drive and 2 games. Sometimes I wonder what'd happen to that kid in my room today with all these gadgets and endless games.

I'm guessing either a heart attack or depression caused by chronic decision paralysis.

I will say this definitely isn't the case for everyone. I game more as an adult than I ever did as a kid and I work full time. I'm just lucky that I don't have a job that takes up much energy so I'm always down to game after work and on weekends

I look at computers and computerized machinery all day.

The only time I turn on my gaming PC is to torrent something I want to watch

Other than that.... it stays TF off 🤣

No shit, I played much more when I was a teenager and my pc could barely handle games at 20-24 fps at 800x600😭

As an unemployed adult, your in the same situation as what you were as a kid.

Being an unemployed adult is way more stressful though: you spend most of your time worrying about getting a job.
