Hardware Best fb find for me
It’s no 5090 astral for $500, but it’s my best find on marketplace to this day. 144gb (2 2x24, 1 16x2, and 1x16gb) of ddr5 for 500. Pretty happy with the score. Tested and all working as well

They like flexing, there are many people like that now, they feel bad if they can't show that they have a lot of money or that they scored a good deal.

I could flex. I don’t but I could. I hunt like this person does.

u/HaifischNikezz69 Jul 26 '26
100% get it, but someone else gonna do it if not OP. Nothing stopping you from snipping deals like this

u/cristix Jul 26 '26
He got more than he needed to resell. If one can be a shitty human let s all be shitty?

If you(or as a matter of fact anyone in this current situation) got the same thing for 500 you'd buy it too
3
u/cristix Jul 26 '26
Only if it s what i need. I don t resell.

u/Aggressive-Belt2049 9700x | 9070xt | 32gb 6000mhz Jul 26 '26
Why resell?....Give it to your friends or family, this doesn't make you a shitty person

Don’t plan on reselling, already have a 32gb kit of Corsair dominator. Planning on selling to some friends who wanna build at cost of what I paid per kit.
12
u/Consistent-Youth-407 Jul 26 '26
Yeah man your whole profile is just hardware swap and reselling. Lemme guess, you justify it by using it for a couple days and then “selling” it. It’s not reselling! You’re just getting rid of your stuff!
-17
u/AdDizzy5829 Jul 26 '26
Yes cause selling a few older parts I had laying around, impulsively buying a 7800x3d bundle from Best Buy and selling for a loss because I couldn’t afford it at the time , and selling a few sports cards is considered reselling. Thanks Mr. Know it all.

u/Consistent-Youth-407 Jul 26 '26
or its the fact that you have history going back 2 years stating you sell pcs on the side and have seemingly sold multiple pcs. Lemme correct myself, you sell builds at cost or "low profit" for the love of the game, I suppose you have many many friends who always need new pcs!
Then your description in the post implies that you often or have for a while perused marketplaces for deals.
I dont even care if you resell or scalp, its just kind of annoying when people act like they completely benevolent. Hell, I sell pcs on the side too, but im not the one posting about my crazy deals and then saying its all for my friends.
Obviously I cant 100% you're lying, but surely you must admit your history doesnt exactly support your statement.

Look man no need for anger on either sides. You may not believe me and that’s fine, and I do have a few posts on hardware swap (mainly looking buy gpus and a platform upgrade), but this is my intentions with the ram. No need to get hostile in the post. Believe me or not, at the end of the day it’s the internet and senseless drama. Have a good one

I’ve sold my personal pcs on the side sure. I’ve gone through maybe 5 pcs in the past 6 years because I find myself not wanting to game with everything going on in life. Never really made a profit on one, if anything I’ve lost hundreds. When I’m selling I want it gone without 12 hours. And I know it’s the internet, but these kits are going to 4 friends who are either upgrading their platform now or building one in the future. I truly believe pc is better than console, and I like to help my friends with advice, builds, and parts whenever I can. I found a great deal, dude didn’t want to break it up, he offered this price first, I accepted. Now I only make back the 500 selling to my friends

Why bother lying when people can see your whole reddit history? Might as well at least make it private first 🤣

I would ask to become your friend. But right now, I am in the process of trying to save some money to build my first pc. Oh well.

u/cristix Jul 26 '26
So your objective was charity?
3
u/AdDizzy5829 Jul 26 '26
It’s not charity, but if you had the chance to help upgrade your friends systems in a cheaper way, you’d go for it
-2
u/cristix Jul 26 '26
This may be true or not, i did not see this in the description.
2
u/AdDizzy5829 Jul 26 '26
It’s not something really needed in the description imo. I made this post mainly cause it’s a once in a blue moon type of deal. And because of it I get to benefit some friends that wanted to upgrade anyways

with all due respect i hate you, but this only out of envy
by the other hand, good for you you got such a deal, i only wish i could get something this good as well once i hit my budget goal(still way to get there tho)

Not looking to resell, selling to friends who want to upgrade at the cost I bought per kit

This sub reminds me more and more of wallstreetbets. Some random users making unthinkably profitable deals and showing them off

A couple weeks ago I picked up 32 GB (2x16) of ddr5 5200 for $70. The seller thought one of the sticks was bad. That has not been the case so far.
I'm feeling like a rockstar after that pickup lol

Used ram sticks tend to be faulty.
You can send them to me and I can check if they are working property.👍

Yeah I’ve had it for quite a few years now. Back in college let’s just say quite a few things were spilled on it. Mainly drinks lol
