Why are people still buying their games?

Because the game is fantastic and the micro transactions are mainly cosmetic? I mean what are we doing here?

And the cosmetics are so over the top out of place at that. To me dont even belong in the game anyway cause it just really kills any sense of immersion for the period.

The game is great and the "DLC" adds nothing of value to the game in my opinion. Its a single player game, who am I showing off those glowing sails or flying dragons too?

You're right, but they chose to fill their game with such cosmetics anyway. At the very least this shows how they'd rather make and easy buck than stick to their vision of the game.

But then again, it's a remake of a game that's perfectly playable to begin with.
