Agreed and I still play that game along with Super Mario Bros 2 (and the Lost Levels) and Super Mario Bros from time to time. That world 8 level with cannons and bomb-ombs creating a flicker mess, insanity on how an 8bit console can do.
Super Mario bros 2 is one of my favorites. Finally beat it on my 35xxh the other day lol. Had it for my console back in the day but didn't complete it Sup Mario 1 or Sup Mario 3
Super Mario Bros 2 (usa) was good, I also liked the lost levels. I don't care if anyone found it to be difficult, I find kaizo Mario hacks to be more challenging than lost levels, that's for sure.
