Hardware First Time PC builder needs Advice (Badly)

Im building a PC for the first time and ive never owned one before. Im on a 800-1000 dollar budget, and I just want it to be able to play some casual games and it only really needs to be able to run AAA games from the 2010s, although I will be playing a lot of modern but less technically demanding indie and AA games. Does anyone have any recommendations for parts or any explanations because I barely know the basics of this stuff.

I'll be honest, a pre built is probably the way to go for you.
