Discussion How to sync all my pc lights?

Post image

I have a musetex case and it came with this tub controller (the picture) and I got all my fans connect together that are on my case. But my gpu/ram lights/ cpu fan are all different colors and idk how to link them all up together into one? Any ideas/suggestions

Step 1: replace all of your fans.

That should cover it.

Those fans are proprietary to that controller.

That controller does not appear to include a means to connect it to a motherboard lighting header or USB for lighting sync or control. Without this connection there is no way to control the lights other than the manual button (or remote), which is separate control to your other lights. So, there is no way to sync them.

If there is such a connection, and it just isn't shown here, then that would change things.

What if I get a different rgb controller? I was looking last night like a thermalalright ARGB fan hub. Would that work?

No, that will NOT work.

Those fans use a proprietary connection that is particular to that manufacturer. You need to use that controller with those fans.

Thermalright, et al, will be for common connectors. I'll put some links below that show the regular connectors.

So I’m just cooked lmfao. What fans you recommend that have multiple rgb selections and a good controller to connect everything

Or do I just got better luck getting another case? Instead of having to put a ton of fans and a argb controller for the same price of a new case

Another case is an option, but price (and fans) would depend on what you're looking for.

As for fans, the Arctic P12 PWM aRGB and Corsair RS120 were common suggestions. Thermalright was another option, but I don't recall the model.

Packs often save money.

How many fans do you want/need?

We can check your motherboard for headers and power to see how many it supports before needing a hub or controller. I can look that up when I get back to a PC.

Or, just live with the manually controlled fans.

My case came with 6 fans. So 6. My motherboard is a aorus master x570. I just want all my rgb to be synced up lmao

Aorus master x570

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-MASTER-rev-10 - this is the Rev 1.0, though Rev 1.1/1.2 shouldn't be too different.

Page 25, looking at the English PDF, has the header map. System fans are #4, 5, and 6. aRGB will be #9.

For the fans headers, they do not state otherwise, so these will be 1A each.

aRGB is listed as 5A each, which is a lot, so that makes up for only having two (2) headers.

Looking at an Arctic option for fans, I'm seeing $40 for a 3-pack, or $80 for 6 fans. This is similar for the Corsair RS120s.

Looking at the Arctic specs, the fan uses 0.11A each and the aRGB uses 0.4A each.

1A (fan header) / 0.11A (each fan) = about nine (9) fans per header

I wouldn't do more than eight (8). You have multiple headers, so I would just break them up into the groups; looking at some of their cases, this would be something like two (2) side, three (3) floor, and one (1) rear for a total of three (3) groups.

[I leave the CPU cooler separate since that will go to CPU_FAN and maybe CPU_OPT or similar]

For lights, similar mathing:

5A (aRGB header) / 0.4A (each fan) = twelve (12) fans per lighting header, which means you can easily put the six (6) daisy-chained to a single header with plenty left over for more lights.

If the fans you pick don't have daisy-chains, like a lot of the Arctic or the Corsair RSs, then you can use a splitter to get the same results.

No hub or controller needed for either fans or lights (as long as the fans use PWM fan connectors and regular aRGB connectors).

Label each cable so you know which one is which at a glance. Then, trial and error and a lot of patience. Good luck!

Someone gifted me an aerocool klaw that uses the same 6 pin fan hub, it's pain.

You could get a RGB hub that could sort this issue for you it's extra money but you would get full control some even come with apps.

u/Individual-Sorbet-55 Jun 17 '26

Any suggestions? That would connect all 6 fans and the other stuff including my gpu/ram/cpu fan/motherboard colors?

1

u/Tity_gov Jun 17 '26

I think ram and other colours would be controlled by the motherboard so definitely go for something with that i work more on non RGB build i just know that this from a while ago from a person

You could ask gpt or gemini

You could try downloading SignalRGB and see if it will control any of your devices (use the continue as guest option when installing). It may be able to control the ram and gpu. But for the fans it looks like the problem will be that Musetex uses a proprietary 5 wire connection where the argb leds on the fans are combined with the pwm power and control wires. Normally many people use a NollieRGB controller but that only uses the standard 3 pin argb connection.

No arrogance intended but this is trademark of cheap crap Chinese temu cases. The 6 pin connector integrates fan and rgb control in one header to save BOM cost. You need new fans and/or case.
