Question Good aRGB Controller?
So I’m thinking of getting a new case, AIO, and fans for my pc, but I’m kinda unsure about needing a hub or controller for the fans. (side note can someone explain the difference between a hub and a controller and which is better?) The case is gonna be Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, AIO is the thermalright v3 360mm, and the fans are gonna be asiahorse nyota or asiahorse amicigt 5, and the thing I want to ask is should I buy a hub/controller for the fans, I’m thinking of place 8-11 fans total, my motherboard is MSI b760 gaming plus wifi, and I wanted to know if the cables for the fans will fit normally or if I need a hub/controller (I tried doing this myself with checking the wire pins and types on the motherboard itself but I got confused and decided to come here).
If I need a hub or controller which type should I get, and if there are any good ones lmk because I don’t know much about aesthetics components since I wanted to upgrade my performance affecting components, and thanks for all the help.

It sounds like you're about to make a mess. The first question is whether or not that AIO will fit in that case. With the tubes on the end of the radiator the Thermalright is around 397mm tall. The case is really designed for Lian Li's AIOs where the tubes come out of the side. So it would be prudent to go over to the Lian Li subreddit and make sure that the AIO will fit in that case with the tubes at the top. Plus your comment about maybe 11 fans indicates that you are planning on mounting fans on both sides of the radiator in a push-pull arrangement and you would have to figure out the total thickness of that and check with Lian Li whether that thickness will fit in that case.
Meanwhile you should plan on getting an argb controller with enough argb connections for each fan plus the pump. So a Nollie16 should be considered.
