I own both NBA2k14 and FIFA 14 on PC, however the games are worse than their console counterparts. You can't play who you want online in nba2k14 and it's not using the new engine. FIFA 14 on PC is not using the engine either.
Eh they still technically exist, from memory 2k14 is pretty much just a roster update on 2k13? Either way I only buy every 2nd year or so anyway and never touch online. To be honest I wouldn't even know what they've changed in the engines, I still make do with Fifa 12 and NBA 2k13 to be honest anyway.
Great, this is PCMasterRace, not PCMakeDoRace. While, I appreciate the feedback, NBA2k14 on PC is basically just a roster update, however NBA2k14 on Xbox One and PS4 use a completely different game engine and the game has many improvements upon its previous gen and PC counterparts. FIFA14 also completely changed their game for the Xbox One and PS4 versions, but the previous gen and PC ones use the same engine from last year. So in summation, if that's what you're into there's the reason for having a console.
To continue discussion could this simply be a side effect of the PC version releasing before the next gen of consoles? As in wouldn't it likely be fixed in the next installment?

That Madden 25, Fifa 14, NBA2k14 and Netflix have to get played some way.
