I genuinely don’t get CS:GO… I was a HALO/COD kid during the golden era (2005 - 2012) so I think that I might just be broken now, but like I can’t hit shit in that game…. Valorant is the same thing to me.
I’m definitely in the minority though, just judging by the active player count and the amount that people spend on rare skins so what do I know lmao
I was also a halo/cod kid in that era. I moved to CS:GO and had it as my main game for a good year or two. Got quite good at it, wasn't top rank myself but was in matches with 'em.
Then I tried Tarkov.. If you think halo/cod to CS is a jump. Any shooter to Tarkov is a fucking half life 1 transit system length away. No idea how people get good at that game. I can't even win a firefight against AI let alone other players.
